attractive dining rooms and a bar. They have great soups, salads, Mexican dish-
es, pastas, and sandwiches--and the most expensive item on the menu is $7
U.S. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm not a "grazer," but I found the
pasta to be delicious. My friend Rick recommends the fetuccine with mush-
rooms. Dee suggests the scrumptuous crema de betabel (beet) soup. They
recently opened a bar.
The ice cream parlor menu has some of the best ice cream I have ever eaten.
I tried the Lemon Helado, which had lemon-flavored ice cream in a lemon. My
wife tried the Coco Helado, which had coconut ice cream in a coconut shell. They
have beautiful music piped in and you get a chocolate cherry cordial with your
bill. Their telephone number is 985-0333, and website, www.dionisiosbar.com.
Like in the States and Canada, there are restaurants to fit everyone's taste.
One of my favorite pastimes in Mazatlán is checking out new restaurants. I'm
not disappointed very often.
