Sope: A small, thick, round corn cake with dimpled edges, topped with a
spicy meat mixture and crumbled cheese.
Taco: A corn tortilla folded around anything and eaten with the hands.
Tacos de pescado, or "fish tacos," are a specialty of Mazatlán.
Tamales: Cornmeal dough wrapped in a cornhusk and steamed. They are
sometimes stuffed with corn, olives, pork, or turkey and quite spicy.
